- WHAT IS HAUSMART'S FEE?
HausMart charges 4% for all transactions sold through the platform

+ WHAT IS HAUSMART?
HausMart is a peer-to-peer platform connecting buyers and sellers. We exist to empower independent entrepreneurs and give customers access to products and services they may not ordinarily have access to. Retailers (sellers) can easily set up stores and accept payment online. Customers (buyers) can easily access HausMart’s self-service stores. No staff, no change, no POS hardware, no hassle.
The platform is quick, simple, and convenient for both Retailers and Customers. Retailers simply snap a photo of their product, set a price, and start selling. Customers can browse the inventory and pay securely from within the app.

+ HOW DO I ACCESS HAUSMART?
The HausMart app is available for free in the Google Play and the Apple App stores get App. If you do not have an iPhone or Android device, the Customer is also able to access HausMart stores and complete purchases from the web browser on www.hausmart.com. Please note that a Retailers cannot set up a store from the web browser. Each store must be setup with the native mobile app.
+ WHAT DOES THE QR-CODE DO?
You can scan a QR code to enter a HausMart store. The easiest way to scan a QR code is to open your smartphone camera, and point at the QR code - a link or banner should appear which provides access to a HausMart store.

You may not be located within physical range of the HausMart store you are trying to access. Some retailers use a feature called geo-fencing or 'lock' their stores.
If geo-fencing has been enabled, you will be able to enter the store when you are within a certain distance of the store you want to enter. That distance is set by the store owner.

+ WHY DOES HAUSMART NEED ACCESS TO MY CAMERA?
In order to enable several important features HausMart requires access to your camera. The features are:
- Barcode scanner to search for product images when adding products to your store
- Retailers are able to photograph products they would like to sell within the app
- Provide a custom profile photo
+ WHY DOES HAUSMART NEED ACCESS TO MY PHOTOS?
HausMart requires access to your photos so that you may upload a new profile photo or upload product images as a retailer.
+ WHY DOES HAUSMART NEED ACCESS TO MY LOCATION?
Some retailers use a feature called geo-fencing which restricts access to the store based on location.Each store's location must be noted as Customers can only access the store within a user-specified distance from the store's location.. The address is not be visible to the Customer.

+ WHY DOES HAUSMART NEED TO SEND ME NOTIFICATIONS?
We want to keep you informed. The app is set to notify Retailers if:
- A customer enters their store either physically, by scanning a QR code, or by entering the five digit store ID found at www.hausmart.com.
- A customer makes a purchase.
